"Wallmans should have the slogan: 'No problem, we've got this!' It's something they say quite often," says a satisfied Marlene Rasmussen.

Marlene Rasmussen is a project manager at ANFO and helps organize ANFO Effekt's annual awards ceremony at Wallmans. This evening brings the industry together for a night of celebration, where outstanding and effective marketing efforts are honored with awards, followed by a festive dinner and a show.

"For us, it's fantastic to have a partner like Wallmans that offers everything under one roof. They provide dinner, a show, and a pleasant atmosphere—and they always have excellent and helpful staff. This allows us as organizers to focus on what we do best, leaving the rest to Wallmans," Marlene explains.

This is the third consecutive year that ANFO has hosted the awards ceremony and party at Wallmans. There are many reasons for this, one of which is the simple and hassle-free process.

"It's like Rema 1000 says: 'The simple things are often the best.' Wallmans' slogan should probably be 'No problem, we've got this!' It's very comforting. They always have a smile and a friendly comment ready," Marlene adds.

Satisfied with the Party: "What I always take away from our events at Wallmans is that our guests have an incredibly enjoyable evening. And when they're happy, I'm happy too," says Marlene Rasmussen from ANFO.

Kristian Larsen is one of the people Marlene is talking about. He's the show director and event producer at Wallmans, and he knows what it takes to throw a successful party. According to him, the key ingredients are: exciting entertainment, good food, plenty of wine, a varied program, and confetti.

"Party planning is a skill! A great party is a carefully choreographed journey where everything is planned down to the last detail. Music, sound, and lighting are tailored to set the right mood. We want our guests to feel like they are truly guests at their own event. We handle the food, timing, decorations, and technical aspects so the organizers can relax and enjoy a glass of wine. We also make sure they get on stage in time if they want to give a speech. If they don't want to speak themselves, we have plenty of staff who perform on stage every day and can handle it. We know all the tricks of the trade," says Kristian.

After ANFO's awards ceremony concludes in the main hall, the party continues with the official Effektparty at "Turbinen." As the name suggests, this historic venue once housed the turbine that powered the mill by the waterfall, and today it serves as Wallmans' charming private venue, accommodating up to 100 people. Here, it's possible to have a musical performance by one or more of Wallmans' talented artists during the party. Marlene highlights this year's show as one of the evening's highlights.

"This year's show is perhaps the best I've seen in the past three years, and I think the mix of singing and Cirque du Soleil-style acts is absolutely fantastic!"

Kristian Larsen believes that the entire evening at Wallmans is a performance.

"The entertainment, the food, the way the food is served, the drink you order at the bar—the whole evening is a performance! We work hard to think of everything so you don't have to think about anything. Instead of sleepless nights and lots of free time lost to planning, you can just sit back and enjoy the evening. After all, that's why you throw a party. Because it's supposed to be fun!"
