Since the year 2000, Wallmans has been delighting audiences at Mølla in Oslo. This year, we have held over 148 shows for our large audience here in the capital. More and more companies and guests are visiting our shows. We have also enjoyed success in Sweden and Denmark with our shows this year. Now, we look forward to 2023!

As we approach the Christmas and New Year’s holidays, we take a moment to reflect on the year behind us. It has been a very good year for us at Wallmans in Oslo, despite starting the season late due to Covid-19, which impacted the first quarter—as well as the previous two years.

– But once things reopened after the pandemic, there was a strong need for us to gather again in social settings. We have seen that here at Wallmans, says Cecilie Trøan Kjelsaas, Managing Director at Wallmans Oslo. People need entertainment, good food, and drinks—and we are proud to be a popular option with our events at Mølla.

Wallmans in Oslo is a large cultural enterprise with 115 employees. This is a significant team that has contributed to producing 148 shows in 2022, 74 of which were held this fall. We are constantly evolving, and in 2022, we achieved great success with live instruments such as guitar and piano on stage here in Oslo, in addition to investing in a large LED screen that enhances the digital aspect of the show. It’s quite a production to ensure excellent experiences for our 39,000 diverse guests each year.

– I am incredibly proud of the fantastic effort we have seen on all levels at Wallmans here in Oslo. At the same time, we have also learned a lot this fall. Not only about the technical execution of our events but also about the importance of ensuring the best possible experience for all guests, says Cecilie Trøan Kjelsaas.

One of my colleagues recently said to me: We at Wallmans are like a big family. Wallmans becomes a lifestyle for us who work here, and it is very energizing. You leave work with your heart on your sleeve when we get to create great experiences for our many guests. She also emphasized the fact that there is room to be oneself and that she felt included.

– This is good to know, and it warms my heart to hear that the positive culture we work with every day extends to our employees. We strive to maintain a high degree of tolerance while firmly addressing any attempts to disrupt experiences among our visitors. This fall, we had a particular experience that we have deeply apologized for, thoroughly evaluated, and learned a lot from, says Trøan Kjelsaas.

Now, we look forward to the holiday season and the execution of our New Year’s Eve show. We will be back in full swing on Friday, January 6, with a new season!

Wallmans has a history dating back to 1991 with Hasse Wallmans’ idea and the start in Stockholm! That’s 32 years of creating great experiences for our guests!
