How can you organize a Christmas party that is both enjoyable and safe during the pandemic?

When infection control measures are followed, there are relatively few cases of infection traced back to the hospitality industry. The risk of infection is highest when many people gather indoors without sufficient distancing. At a venue where guests sit in small groups with good distance between groups, the risk of infection is minimal.

At Christmas parties, alcohol is often involved, and with high alcohol consumption, the risk of infection increases as people may forget to maintain distance. This makes it challenging to organize a Christmas party during these times.

However, it is entirely possible to host enjoyable and safe Christmas parties by adjusting the parameters around the event. In addition to taking infection control seriously, we have our own staff to ensure both licensing and safety measures are adhered to.

Private Events for 30 – 200 Guests
In addition to offering Dinner & Show Christmas parties, we also have the option to host private events in our function rooms. Our clients can invite up to 200 guests in COVID-friendly surroundings in the "Salongen," and 30-40 guests in our Chambre Separé "Turbinen."

• Transportation: Plan how employees can travel to and from the event in the safest way possible.
• Alcohol availability: Evaluate the number of drinks per person to minimize risks.
• Event timing: Set clear start and end times, whether the party is during the day or evening.
• Inform about infection control: Make sure everyone is aware of the infection control measures when the party starts.
• Avoid mingling and crowded dance floors: Consider alternative entertainment options, such as hiring performers or comedians.
• Voluntary participation: Respect those who choose not to attend due to infection control concerns.
