The Artists

Each year, Wallmans Oslo, Stockholm, and Copenhagen hold a major Scandinavian audition, receiving over 1,200 hopeful applicants eager to showcase their talents in singing and dancing. After a careful and selective process, only the best artists remain.

Maria

Maria is a vibrant 20-year-old from Hønefoss, and this season you’ll see her both singing and dancing at Wallmans! At the age of 13, she reached the superfinal in Melodi Grand Prix Junior. She’s performed and worked as a choreographer for 2entertain’s family entertainment on the Color Line Magic and Fantasy cruise ships. In 2024, she was part of the ensemble in Jul i Blåfjell, and she also teaches musical theatre courses for children.

Maria is always up for a coffee date — preferably with a double iced latte with skim milk in hand. And her favorite chocolate? Japp, without a doubt. After gigs with her dad, they share a King Size Japp on the drive home — a small tradition she truly cherishes.

Pontus

Pontus is 22 years old and comes from Eskilstuna, Sweden. To join us at Wallmans in Oslo, he has taken a break from the Music Academy at Örebro University — something we’re very grateful for! New this year is our very own live band on stage, and Pontus will be the pianist.

In his free time, he loves watching horror movies with good friends and has recently discovered a passion for cooking. Alongside playing piano, he is also learning to play the double bass. His biggest musical inspiration is Anders Persson, one of Sweden’s top jazz pianists and his former teacher, but he’s also a big fan of pianist Francesca Tandoi.

Alva

Alva is one of our amazing dancers this season! She’s 25 years old and originally from Abroga. With her degree from Balettakademien, she began building her freelance career back home in Stockholm

When she’s not lighting up the stage, you’ll find her darting between the dance studio, the gym, and meetups with friends – always with a podcast playing in her ears. She draws inspiration from strong women, especially Chanelle Anthony and her own mother, who she considers her biggest role models.

MARCO

Marco, 31 years old from Sardinia, Italy, is a graduate of the Institute of Contemporary Music in London. He is now embarking on his second season as a guitarist at Wallmans.

He has a diverse background as a waiter, chef, and musician on cruise ships. Marco is passionate about fitness, enjoys watching documentaries and stand-up comedy, and his favorite meal is ragú pasta with a cup of espresso on the side.

A fun fact about Marco is that he moved to Norway on March 17, 2020—the very first day of the COVID-19 pandemic. His greatest passions include music, food, traveling, and sports. He draws inspiration from bands like Led Zeppelin and Steely Dan.

LASSE

Lasse is 24 years old and from Malmö, Sweden. He is with us for the third consecutive year as a guitarist in our live band. After graduating from Rytmus Musikgymnasium, he worked as a guitarist, but before that, his passion for cooking led him to work as a chef.

Lasse also has a natural talent for writing music and enjoys playing the guitar late into the night.

Liv Ellen

Liv Ellen is 27 years old and comes from Åsen in Levanger – a true Trønder with jazz in her veins! You will see her on stage as a singer and saxophonist this season.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in jazz singing from NTNU and has worked as a musician for several years, including serving as Artist in Residence at the Britannia Hotel in 2022. Alongside her musical career, she has also tried her hand as a barista, saxophone teacher, and floral designer.

Here’s a fun fact: When she was in kindergarten, she used to sing “Frk. Bibelstripp” by Øystein Sunde for the other kids. If you haven’t heard it, we definitely recommend checking it out!

Emilie

Emilie is a proud Southerner from Kvinesdal with music in her blood. She holds six years of education in performing arts, and recently graduated as a musical theatre artist from the Institute of Performing Arts at Kristiania. You will see her on stage as one of our fabulous singers this year.

Growing up in a musical family, Emilie basically lived on stage from a young age – her first performance was at just six years old. You might even recognize her from The Voice Norway, where she made it all the way to the knockout rounds in 2022.

Her biggest source of inspiration has always been her family. When she got her first phone in third grade – a Sony Walkman – her dad had already loaded it with over 300 of his favorite songs. That says it all.

Annie

From the spotlight in Copenhagen to the stage lights of Oslo – Annie is already a true Wallmanitt! For two years, she’s been raising the roof at Wallmans Copenhagen with her infectious energy and unstoppable joy for dance. Now, she’s bringing that same spark to Wallmans Oslo – and we couldn’t be more excited!

Annie was born and raised in Stockholm and trained at the renowned Balettakademien. She’s also honed her craft through an international study program called Few Steps of Broadway.

And what inspires her the most? Her friends. Talented, driven people she meets along the way. Annie puts it best herself: “WOW! I want to be like you when I grow up.”

Zacharias

Zacharias is 23 years old and comes from the small Swedish town of Säter. With two years of jazz studies in Örebro and experience as a freelance musician, he’s a true rhythm master. He’s a beast on the drums — which is why he’ll be a key part of this year’s live band. And if you catch him with a mic in hand, it’s usually jazz or country you’ll hear — his deep bass voice fits those genres perfectly.

A fun fact about Zacharias is that he actually played guitar before he started playing drums. In the summer, Zacharias has been on tour with the Swedish artist Tusse.

Jenny

Jenny is 23 and comes from the beautiful island of Gotland in Sweden. She holds a three-year music degree from a Swedish Folkhögskola, and this season, we’re excited to have her join our live band as the bass player!

We warmly welcome Jenny to Norway, where she’s perfectly at home thanks to her love of the great outdoors. She’s a family-oriented person who loves spending time with friends. Her biggest inspirations come from fellow musicians, nature, and being surrounded by talented people.

Hjördis

Hjördis is 21 years old and hails from Skåne in southern Sweden. In this year’s show, you’ll see her both as a singer and a violinist – a powerhouse of voice and strings.

Coming from a musical family, Hjördis has sung everything from jazz to prog rock. At just 12 years old, she performed in the musical production at Wallmans Copenhagen – and now she’s back, this time as a singer and violinist – A true full circle moment. It’s worth mentioning that her father was responsible for the music production that year.

Fun fact? In 2023, she and her sister Signe took the stage at the iconic Melodifestivalen, where they performed the song “Edelweiss”!

Andrea

Meet Andrea – one of this season’s most international additions!
She’s from Switzerland and joins us as this year’s acrobat. Even though she’s only 26, Andrea has already impressed on major stages like Virgin Voyages Cruiseline and GOP Varieté-Theater — and she’s just getting started. She’s also wowed audiences at various festivals and earned awards for her stunning acrobatic performances.

Being a true Swiss, she has two major weaknesses: cheese and chocolate — preferably at the same time.

She draws inspiration from other people’s life stories — those who’ve struggled, traveled, tried, and failed. That’s what gives her perspective — and purpose.
